Story Time for Preschool and early readers is at 10:30 on Tuesdays in Reidsville, Wednesdays in Mayodan, Thursdays in Eden and Fridays in Stoneville.

Computer classes are held every week at the Eden Library

Eden Public Library

Adult Needlecrafters SocialMondays at 1:00 p.m.

  • Socialize with other needle crafters. Bring something to work on with you to the social. Learn more about needlecraft and/ or teach what you know to others.

Adult Coloring SocialTuesdays at 2:00 p.m.

  • Relax, have fun and socialize with other coloring enthusiasts.
  • Materials will be provided by the library but feel free to bring your own coloring pages and/or pencils.

Baby Time at the Eden LibraryThursdays at 11:15 a.m.

  • Newborns and toddlers can join us in this 15 minute program.
  • Babies will gain contact with language through stories, rhymes, wiggles, and giggles.
  • Help your baby take their first steps toward literacy and a lifelong love of books.

Arduino ClubFridays at 4 p.m.

  • Join the Arduino Club and learn how to code and use Arduino/Raspberry Pi.
  • What would you make?
  • This is a free program intended for teens grades 6 and up.
  • To register call 336-623-3168 or sign up at the circulation desk.

Saturday Family Program with Ms. Mary: Saturday April 14th, at 10:30 a.m.

  • Enjoy a morning of spring themed songs, stories and crafts with Ms. Mary.

Friends of the Eden Library DinnerTuesday April 17th at 6:00 p.m.

  • The dinner will be catered by Mom’s Catering. Tickets will be $12 for members of the Friends of the Eden Library and $15 for nonmembers.
  • This year’s guest author will be David Spear.

Craft Program: Sew Your Own Pillow Case: Wednesday April 18th at 1:00 p.m.

  • The program is free if you bring your own materials and $10 if you use materials provided by the library.
  • You’ll need 28 inches of one color of cotton fabric and 10 inches of another color.
  • Sign up at the Circulation Desk.

Lego ClubThursday April 19th, at 4:00 p.m.

  • Collaborate with other Master Builders on designs or try the special building challenge.
  • This program is free and open to children of all ages.

Family Movie Night: Thursday April 19th at 5:30 p.m.

  • Movie: Coco

CrafternoonThursday April 26th, at 4:00 p.m.

  • Get crafty with perler beads, making buttons, black out poetry, and more!!
  • This program is 45 minutes long and for those ages 7 and up.
