MADISON LIBRARY
The original section of the Madison Library was completed in 1940. It was funded by private donations solicited by the Madison Rotary Club and from W.P.A. funds. The lot was donated by the Railroad Committee of Madison Township in conjunction with the T. D. Meador estate. In 1967 the building received an addition, bringing it to the present size of 4,521 square feet. The library houses the Linda Vernon Genealogy Room, an outstanding collection of genealogical materials.
